AMP 2017 Human Rights Report Philippines

In view of the third Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the Philippines by the UN Human Rights Council in May 2017, the second AMP human rights report takes stock of the current human rights situation in the country. The starting point for this are important recommendations made to the Philippines by other states in the course of the last UPR procedure in 2012. It can be stated that hardly any progress has been made since then and that the situation has even deteriorated massively in some areas.
