IAN 2025 Human Rights Report: Current situation in 13 countries (German)

The 2025 report (in German) of the German NGO network “International Advocacy Netzwerke” (IAN) – of which the AMP is a member organization – gives an overview of the human rights situation in 13 countries, including the Philippines.

The situation arrest of his predecessor Rodrigo Duterte for alleged crimes against humanity, which was authorized by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his transfer to the International Criminal Court, are important steps towards justice in the Philippines. However, extrajudicial executions and killings in the course of the so-called “war on drugs” continue, while the national criminal prosecution of humanrights violations remains at a standstill.
