AMP sends letters to President Aquino condemning recent political killings

The Action Network Human Rights-Philippines (AMP)sent two letters of appeal to President Aquino during the last months. 4 tragical political killings shocked the national and international community. Killed were family members of prominent indigenous anti mining activists. The AMP expressed deep concern over the aggravation of the cycle of violence in mining areas and demanded for impartial investigations of the killings and an re-examination of the current mining policy.
