From 11 to 20 March 2009, a delegation of the Action Network Human Rights – Philippines (AMP) went on a human rights mission to the Philippines, which examined the implementation of recommendations of various international reports on politically motivated killings and enforced disappearances. The delegation, which consisted of eight representatives of the AMP, met with several leaders of the government, the police, the military and the churches. The delegation also talked to the victims of human rights violations and their families as well as representatives of civil society and human rights organizations in the Philippines.
